They say curiosity kills the cat, but i think it should be "too much curiosity kills the cat". My dutiful desire to learn about Steemit is borne out of "curiosity", not "too much curiosity”.
In my search for more information, I stumbled on @ogochukwu. The name suggests he/she must be a Nigerian and must also be from the Igbo stock.
I immediately followed him/she (I don't think i am interested in his/her gender for now, what difference does it make?). All that beclouded my sense of reasoning was how to learn from him/her. I scanned through his/her blog, read through his/her comments, skimmed his/her replies before i even followed him/her.
As posted by @ogochukwu , there are some simple steps one can focus on whenone is looking for attention on Steemit.
You don't need to wear a flashy red dress before you go online. You don't need to put on a foundation and lipstick as thick as red cement before you log in. You don't need to be a first class graduate to gain attention. You dont need to be an assumed "boss" before you draw attention to yourself.
All you need to do are as simple as a 'kiss':
Write quality content.
Create a good niche for yourself.
Choose to stand out.
Brand yourself.
Write less and comment more.
Be consistent.

NB: I am also learning, no one is an oasis of knowledge. All that i wrote are out of my pacing up and down on Steemit. You can as well share your experience so far.
