As many of you know I am working on the social media platforms across the internet for the Steemit project. The goal is to extend the reach of the Steemit users posts, memes and other content. I see that some of you have already figured out that we are now sharing content on platforms like Twitter and Facebook, but that is only the beginning.
The goal of posting content across all of the social media channels has many benefits for the users and the platform. By making your content shine Steemit stands out in the eyes of Google, Bing, Opera and other search engines.
I know many of you like myself believe the Steemit project has legs and can truly change the world of social media.
Steemit Social Media Channels Now Active.
Currently has 3,436 Followers. We are actively following Steemit users Twitter accounts. Please mention the @Steemit account and you will also be followed.
Facebook Page
Please Like the Official @Steemit page on Facebook. We will be sharing user content occasionally on this page as well.
Google Plus Page
This account was opened today. If you use Google Plus please make sure to follow the page. We will be following all user accounts back until we reach the 5,000 limit. User content will be shared to the Google Plus page for the SEO benefit.

I don't have access to the Steemit Instagram but please go in and support the account. The Instagram account is very important for platform branding.
Tumblr
The Tumblr account was set up to share Steemit User content. Over the next few weeks we will be sharing many posts daily on the Tumblr Steemit blog. If you have Tumblr please follow the blog.

If you can, please add the subreddit to the list to. Tomorrow I will be making a post about finding more users who want to contribute their time on cleaning it up and helping me moderate it. Yup, I am working with the Steemian guys to get the RSS Feeds working as well. This should help alot. If we keep everything on this platform it will stunt the growth.

I post all of my steemit content all over social media and have exposed Steemit to thousands of people. I am also sure to like and interface with others posting their Steemit content on social media so as to bring it more attention.

Thanks for posting this hilarski. I have a question that's been on my mind for a while now. Would you recommend promoting your content in Steemit.chat? It seems like it's over-concentrated with people spamming links to their posts (including myself every now and then). And do you ever go on Steemit.chat yourself?
