Some Of My Goals For The Remainder Of 2018. - What's Yours?

It's About 5 Months Remaining Of 2018...

This year has given me much already. I went from being a full time freelancer to full time student. That transition was extremely difficult and I still, to this day, struggle with it from time to time. Constant pressure and stress, both in terms of income but also due to the fact that no one has told me what I need to do for the last ~8 years or so... And nowadays, I have different teachers telling me exactly what I need to do and what I must learn. It's weird, but it's fun at the same time.

I have even started to work during holidays and evenings, after school, which is something I couldn't even dream of doing a year ago, due to my panic attacks, anxiety and depression. Even though I still suffer and can wake up in the middle of the night with all the anxiety in the world... I handle it better and I get it to work. On top of these things, I also launched the @asapers together with @insideoutlet and @shai-hulud. A manual curation project. I promised myself to delegate 100% of my own Steem Power towards that project and to a few selected Steemians, which I have been doing during this entire year more or less. Without some minor exceptions during a power down I had to do for instance.

Now, during the summer, I have also started to live stream again on twitch. I am still looking for an easy way to stream simultaneously on dlive too, as I'd love to give it a try. So if you have any ideas, please let me know.

I have created an alternative Steemit account. @EviLDoLLTV, which is (and will be) the account I use for any type of gaming related content. I am eager to build a gaming audience and here's where some of my goals for this year come in.

Things I Want.

I will study until September 2019, so there's nothing much I want with that for now, except good grades and fulfill my studies. On top of that, I want to build a gaming audience like I mentioned above and I want the @asapers to grow even further, which I know it will do.

Some of the things I want that comes hand in hand with the gaming audience is a decent webcam, a greenscreen and a good microphone. As I also record and create videos (highlights etc.), I'm eager to get my hands on these things as it would yield a better outcome in terms of quality. This is actually something I've talked about previously too. Over a year ago, but due to life and other commitments, I had to let those dreams go for a while. I mean, only the costs for these three things is probably about ~$700-$800, and shipping costs on top of that, if I go with something like Amazon to buy it... So it's quite expensive. Especially nowadays when I'm a student.

That being said, this is still doable. And much thanks to Steemit, but also due to the fact that I'm finally mentally ready (again) to work extra. However, we also have SteemFest 3. Which would be an amazing event and a pretty cool holiday too. And a needed one... But I think it's too little time until it's here at my doorstep and due to my studies, I think it's almost impossible for me to participate.

So, I want to build a gaming audience, I want to grow the @asapers and I want to keep up with everything in School... And hopefully, even though I don't really believe in a god or whatever, I truly wish I'll get some extra powers to do it all.

I think goal setting like this is important, but in terms of anxiety levels, I think we should refrain from setting goals that make everything "perfect" :) You do a great job managing all that you do, and I just hope you don't put too much pressure on yourself in the process :)

I'm glad that you are "mentally" ready to do it all too. And, I wish there was a way for you to get to Steemfest; how awesome would that be! Selfishly, I'd like to hear what it's like from someone I know :)

Yeah, I like goals and milestones... It usually makes it easier to push yourself further. We'll see how things develop, but hopefully, I'll manage to get some of these things in the near future. - Thank you for the comment! :)

You're most welcome @hitmeasap! It's true, once things are written down, it's harder to ignore them. I'm the same way😅
