A bodyguard shot dead Abdul Razik, the police chief of Afghanistan's Kandahar province. He was serving as the top commander of the country's security forces.
Al Jazeera reported that after one meeting, one of the strongest security officers of Afghanistan, General Abdul Rajik and Kandahar's intelligence chief Abdul Mahimin were killed by a bodyguard.
But the Taliban militants said after a high level meeting at the governor's office, they fired on General Rajik and top US commander General Scott Miller. But Scott Miller managed to escape.
On the other hand, the governor of the province of Kandahar has been seriously injured in bullet injury. Three Americans were injured in the attack.
