Can steemit change the world of social media?

It is a very important question we all need to answer: If steemit will survive over a long time, can it really change the social media?
Or you think that steemit is going to die,and nothing will be changed?

In my opinion, it is really better than any other platform where publisher / maker can earn money out of his content.
For example: We got youtube, but you need to meet some requirements to get money out of every video.
With steemit, you can start here basically from nothing-just start doing quality posts, and one day,
some whale will appreciate your effort, with an upvote.

It is not so easy to monetize your content on other platforms-usually you need a lot of people behind you first.

However it is important for steemit team, to not let us see any kind of bots or spam over here, this annoys people and more importantly,it steals income: Why some bot ,or scammer should get profit if a trust-worthy,hardly-working publisher can?

Luckily they have already implemented ctrl+c publishers,i have seen some of them caught,
so we dont have to be afraid about person who will copy our photos/videos/posts and put them in here.

I think that in terms of making profit out of content, steemit can easily win with facebook!
With facebook we get money straight from advertisier,if we have an agreement. But here you can make it really simplier, and faster too.

I would like to see your opinions, can we get steemit more important than facebook (in terms of profit) ?

So,if it comes to getting money from steemit-Are you afraid of steemit.com going down: so you withdraw,
or you rather power up your STEEM POWER to get more on longer term.

Do you believe in $teemit? Or you dont?

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.

Yeah hrottie, but you have to remember that actually vote's mean nothing,if no whale will be included there.
You need to attract rich people bro hahaha :)

Steemit will! Just give it time, and word of mouth...The people on the other Social Media platforms will join very soon. Money Is always a great incentive that never existed on the other sites! Thanks for the post-

i have a friend who is not a big publisher, he just likes to type his thoughts on web.
So far, steemit is the best tool for him to reach some audience, because earlier he actually had almost no views...
Now he can start building his empire ;D

It can and it will. Other social media platforms will have to rethink how to retain users if they leave to different platforms with better incentives.

The problem with other social media is that we don't have a good tool for publishers to monetize their content, steemit solves that very well.

Looks like it already is; so exited about the possibilities.

It is to early to say so,steemit is not and old website,it needs some time to get bigger.
However if it will get bigger and bigger like now,it will surely change a lot.

I dont get why u have changed your comment, can you explain me this please?
Previous one was better haha :)

I'm lost. what do you mean?

nevermind,i just noticed you have changed everything you had in the first comment in this posts.

It surely can,i think we will have it at the top in like 2 years, because we still need to wait until steemit will become really popular as other social-media platforms

I dont think that we will have to wait for that long,im expecting 1 year for steemit to take lead in the social-media run :D

I expect it to be sooner than that, considering the fast adoption of the mainstream financial firms who have already invested billions in the blockchain technology.

I hope so too, maybe we will get lucky a little bit and steemit will be known all over the world really fast.
We will be "elite" here, because we know about it pretty early :D

  • Please use "space" after a comma. Example: "word, second word", not "word, second word" ;)
  • If you are using new line for new sentece, probably you want to make new paragraph for it, so make 2 new lines - like in 2nd part of your article.

Thank's a lot for your hints,im still starting over here.
My content will be better now thanks to your tips :)
