Steemit--Well I don't know as a layman how wealth is been created on steem it!!Can anyone explain it!!

Well I have read a quote from Any Rand that wealth is the creation of human thinking!!

But on steemit block chain how this concept is being realised ,Can anyone explain it simply..

Fiat currencies are printed/created by banks/governments..

Is it something like,Who buys steem tokens makes value for steemit platform and these money is distributed among the content creators!!

Can anyone help to understand the concept simply!!
