“You need to associate with people that inspire you, people that challenge you to rise higher, people that make you better. Don’t waste your valuable time with people that are not adding to your growth. Your destiny is too important.” Joel Osteen
The above quote is so true. You will become the type of person who you spend your time with the most. Therefore it's important that you surround yourself with positive, goal driven people. People who are intelligent and have a vision. Be it family members, friends or associates from work. People's beliefs, mindsets and vibes will become your own, so choose carefully whom you associate yourself with.
With that being said, I have created a post in 3 parts to honor and mention those individuals whom have made a positive impact in my life here on Steemit, who are still making a positive impact, and lastly, whom have been there for when I needed help, even in my darkest hour.
Without further ado, I present the following individuals whom have changed my life. ( And who are still changing me ).
Where does one start with this man. If I had to mention all his good qualities we'd have a post that would make a Harry Potter novel look like amateur hour.
Known to many as "fyrstikken", and known to me as, "Boss Man" or "Boss", his true identity is that of a Viking. Having been a member of Steemit since the early days, this man has been in crypto since way back then. Boasting a vast amount of knowledge regarding crypto, this individual is one of the most committed Steemians I've come to have the pleasure of knowing.
He is a witness to boot ( @fyrst-witness ) and adminsters one of the best upvote bots on the Steemit platform. ( @booster ). Oh but it doesn't stop there. He also has his own very busy, very successful Discord server called Steemspeak. ( https://discord.gg/cvy9x9j )Is there no end to this man's talent? During my Steemit career this man has helped me, and others, with many, many upvotes, knowledge, and advice. And I'm not talking about the average generic advice you get from most people. Oh no, I'm talking about specific, practical advice regarding investing, Steemit and life itself.
Just look at that face. lol. So innocent, so trusting, like Colonel Sanders of KFC. (lol). I remember the times when this man has shown his generosity to me in ways you won't believe, and why? Because he believed in me, because that is the nature of this man. He doesn't have to help, he doesn't have to "invest" his time and effort into me, but he does. And for that, I am a better person. I have learnt so much from him, and I know that when he speaks, you listen. You pay attention and don't interrupt him, because he doesn't spoonfeed you. He gives you the advice in such a way that you want to know more, that you go out and help yourself too regarding what he told you. The amount of times he has "saved" me when I needed help, it's unbelievable. I am proud to say that I know this man. He has changed me for the better and is still changing me!
A fool does not listen to a wise man's advice. You can only benefit, as I have, from associating yourself with this man. He is pretty much always online in his Discord server, so do yourself a favor, and pop on by. You can only benefit from doing so.
Here ladies and gentlemen we have a true, what word shall I use, wildcard. Yes, let's use that word. I met this diaper stain back in the day in @fyrstikken Discord server. I always used to ask him for advice regarding kids for some reason. A father of four, video game designer / creator, and now the newly proud "founder" of Hots or Shots, this guy is a real blast to hang around with.
He is known to speak his mind, and he doesn't sugar coat things when you ask him for advice, and that is what I needed from him at the times I came to him for advice. He is the type of man that knows what he's talking about. Why? Because he has experienced what I ask him for advice at times. He has walked through that fire, and made it to the other side, so he knows his s*it. Late last year I approached him for help and without even asking why or how, his words were, "I got you". Just like that, without even judging or preaching. Just, "No problem my man, I got you."
Apparently this human used to have a beard. Whatever! I've learnt from him that it doesn't help to cry over a situation. Accept it and do something about it. If it's bad for you or affecting you in a negative way, move on! I've also learnt that when you step out in faith and have the balls to start something, it can be a success, like his show called Hots or Shots. He took the plunge, put in the effort and today the show is a huge success. He went out there and got sponsors. He did something! He didn't just sit back and do nothing, and that is a valuable lesson I have learned from him.
Being a father of four I have approached him with matters regarding parenthood, and he has given me solid advice everytime. I have no kids of my own ( none that I know of hehe ), so by the time I'm a dad I want to know as much as I can about being a parent. Nicholas ( his real name ), never disappointed me with his good advice. He can be extremely blunt, even rude at times, but his advice is worth hearing it blunty. As I mentioned before, he doesn't sugarcoat anything. You can only benefit from associating yourself with this man, as I have.
Both these individuals have helped me when I needed them, have given me good, solid, practical advice regarding life, Steemit, finances, and pretty much everything inbetween. There are others which will be highlighted in the following 2 posts, but because of these two, I am, surely, a better person. Yes I still stumble with things that they have learned already, but they are patient with me, they believe in me, and that, dear reader, is very rare to find in this broken world we live in.
Next post will feature the next two individuals whom have impacted me
First of all i really want to appreciate you because you really gave the respect to those people who really influenced your professional and personal life in an good way. And you said absolutely right about the environment, means we should invest our time on good things and with good people because that will make us more productive and in turn we can see the positive results. And i spend very less time on Steem Speak but i am feeling those positive vibes and getting the goal oriented vision and @fyrstikken gave some advices to me and showcased his kind support towards my work and his support is really huge and his advices are really impactful. Thanks for sharing and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂

Well...that's well said. Your words make me want to meet these 2 Steemians. I have lots of questions...simple ones...like where can I find a post scheduler...and how to I learn how much to use when voting. One bot has a min of 0.080. Would that be 80 cents in A Erica dollars?
I LOOK FORWARD to reading about your next guest. Thanks for this post.
