The idea of delegated curation is meant to address the very problem you describe. Right now those who have actual voting power are not able to track all new posts.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
