I didnt reveal my identity on Steemit. Not sure when or if i will reveal it at all. I just didnt even think of it. Im few weeks old here, and im not revealing my personal info if not necessary. But its really easy to find it out for anyone who would like to dig a bit.
One thing i respect is other peoples right to write anonimously. Digging up someones indentity for me is the most aggressive act one can do toward antoher person.. Its rude like digging through ones wallet, or stealing family pics lol.
Ive come upon several articles in the last week with such content. I wont name or tag anyone, it doesnt matter who revealed whose identity, just want to say its childish, and it looks awful to new users too.
Really, its easy to dig out just anyone, but if i can do that, it doesnt mean i should. i dont get it why is that important at all. Is there any other way to respond to rude behavior, harassing or whatever people are fighting for here?
Play smarter, get richer than everyone you dont like here. Thats a hell of a motivation - revenge.
But come on, stop playing detectives and posting peoples private pics. Their names and faces doesnt really mean nothing, thats all just common people.
Respect each other, even when fighting. Fight with quality of articles, money and influence. Acting like a child makes everything here look bad. And its not bad at all. Lets say Steemit is a business, so dont make it personal.
I wish there is some written code of conduct, so the new people could blend in easily. Asking for upvotes and followers and selfupvoting could be written there as 1st paragraph lol.
And of course, no matter how long you are on Steemit, dont forget to have fun here. Theres many many fun and interesting people here.
For a platform still in the beta phase, I see some issues arise from revealing personal identities of other users. For users to unmask people seems very childish and a bad omen/mark when minnows see it.

Totally agree about just letting people be... Concentrate on one's own battle. It's too easy to forget that blowing out someone else's candle will not make yours shine brighter.
