This sounds great. Making it easier to signup will greatly increase the size of the community. The slower rate of approvals for new members has long been an issue to get people to signup to Steemit. The development of the android app is also wonderful. The Steemit platform is harder to use on an Android phone browser for me. An android app would definitely help use Steemit on my phone.

Steem to $10.00. Go Steem. Hey it was just .20 recently. Things can change that quickly. You gotta believe. I almost believe , it's ano brainer. It's a fantastic platform with great blockchain tech. that is already very efficient and fast. All I'm doing is positioning myself accordingly. Gobbling up as much Steem Power as I can. That's actually a totally different issue altogether. It will be good that we will have many people using our platform. However, I actually haven't figured out how we'll be able to get sufficient rewards for the all the new people coming. The amount of Steem being produced is limited to a set amount and the rewards pool is as well. The only think I can think of some type of ad monetization but there's definitely a few other avenues Steemit can try.

I think it's good to see development/experimentation in the platform. I'm skeptical HF20 will do anything to the price of STEEM though, crypto-traders just stare myopically at charts, increases in real value are irrelevant to them. The only way STEEM value increases is through bringing on new participants.

Yes, a rival developing against Steem. It is Synereo. I want you to a have a look and i'd like to hear your views on it. I think investing in that would be a better opportunity right now. @chandu91 do they have a working dapp yet? Without a working dapp it's really hard to review it based on just hype. To be honest there will be other competitors that pop up eventually, all we care about is that steem is one of the big ones.
