For those living in a 1st world country like myself (Florida, USA) Steemit may just seem like another social media platform but with the perk of some payout reward. But for Steemians living in lower income regions this platform is truly Healing The World, providing a way to not only connect with others from around the world but truly heal empty stomachs or purchase needed medical supplies.
This site that I found and am finding fun as a way to spend some free time others have found as a Life Saver. I enjoy seeing uplifting posts from steemians in places like #nigeria or #aceh in #indonesia or #myanmar and the #philippines or #venezuela and #india and so many more places that Steemit is impacting lives for the good.
I think 2018 will be an amazing year for Steemit and I am proud to be apart of it.

You're right! Steemit is a beacon of hope for people all over the world! Michael Jackson definitely had his oddities, but he sure did know how to inspire people with music and lyrics!
