That is one way to look at it, but my aim is to create more demand for Steem on the exchanges. In my opinion , advertisers should buy Steem either on the Internal market or on an open exchange like Poloniex. They will then pay for their advert with Steem.

Adverts will be allocated space using algorithms which is designed to target specific areas and users.

Their is a smart contract in the back which can allocate a percentage to the users where the adverts is displayed and a percentage goes to Steemit inc. there can even be a third player where Steemit users can bring adverts and receive a commission for bringing the advertisers.

Most importantly Steemit users are active on their sites, hence they can take the responsibility where if you for some reason see that the advert displayed are on a post where it does not make sense, they can report the ad by selecting a button and the Advet can be reallocated to a more appropriate space. For example if there is a post re Mariuana, and the ad displayed is from Walmart, the advert can be allocated to a more suitable post.
