HAPPY THURSDAY STEEMIT!
It has been a busy but productive week...
Yesterday was one of those days that despite being rather TEDIOUS in activity, it was actually rather rewarding and left me feeling quite accomplished in a manner of speaking…
I had to go and tie up a few lose ends relating to the business which I have just closed. Things, like disconnecting phone lines, changing debit order accounts for things like insurance, mobile phones and other REALLY exciting stuff like that!
Jude also started school, so that was an aspect of routine that I have quite easily gotten used to NOT having to deal with over the last month haha! – And SOCKS! I had to place an order for 10 x pairs of school socks, because Jude HATES wearing shoes, but LOVES wearing socks apparently and all his existing school socks have air vents… lol!
Having to sort out the last of closing a business which was over a decade old is no simple procedure, let me tell you! lol There is just SO much to take care of… things you haven’t even thought about consciously in YEARS…. You know… they just “take your money”…
And the whole school routine, homework, lunch packing, limited playtime, early bath time, dinner and bed time…
But, approaching the end of the week, I sit here now – with several more items checked off on my list and I feel GOOD! I feel like I have turned a corner... which is a GREAT feeling!

It's only through taking care of the small stuff that the big stuff gets done.
I'm in the middle of procrastinating about doing my accounts and tax return but yesterday, I sat myself down, and just did some small stuff towards it.
I found my archive box of accounts and brought it upstairs.
I found a organised my bank and credit card statements.
I opened my accounting program on my computer.
All small and manageable.
Now I'm ready to take some more steps today towards getting this very unfun task done!

I'm finding Steemit helps a lot! Yesterday I did a bit of accounts, then spent time on Steemit, then a bit more accounts, then time on Steemit, pretty much all day. Worked like a dream!

Thanks for talking about jude's school time because i remembered my school days and i really laugh hard on myself on how i have behaved in the past in school days. There was no friend request between me and my school so I had tried to find an excuse to miss the school, like stomach pain, this pain and that pain and never enjoyed my classes. But now i laugh on myself because those were the best moments of my life because when you growup sometimes responsibilities increases and in my opinion we lose real freedom to some extent. Haha @jaynie i can totally relate. Some things just pop up that drains your money and an aspect you are not used to again for a while popping up in the case of Jude. I know that feeling of accomplishment that comes when you know you have sorted out things you need to. Well done. You could use some rest though. Get Jude a fancy school shoes, he might like it.
