Steemit Bloggers Favourites.jpg

🌼

Hey Steemit!!!

As many of you know, I founded the @steemitbloggers discord server several months back with the intention of building, supporting and growing a community of truly quality Steemit bloggers.

During this time, we have all shared a lot together and within that, have stood by one another, supported one another, ridded ourselves of the "rif raf" and are now TRULY an EPIC FAMILY!!!

Over and above what I share on the @steemitbloggers feed and in the spirit of my love for all of these beautiful people, I have decided to personally and regularly select a few recent "family favourites" of mine and showcase them as I am about to do in this post...

These wonderful people, really DO produce some AMAZING content and you would do yourself a great justice by checking them out... REALLY!

Teaching kids to be curious

By: @lizziesworld

One of the best lessons you can give to a child is to teach them to be curious about the world we live in and the best place to take them is somewhere out in the open with nature all around them.

My fate with a self-made bench

By: @iamjadeline

I didn't purposely scout around for today's @photocontests by @juliank but I guess lucky charm was following me because today's theme is 'benches'. The bench found me. Although it was just one bench, I would still give it a go for the contest. Who knows luck is with me and @juliank will love this self-made bench. I scooped down and got the angle correct and snapped. Here is the outcome!

A Tutor's Tale Part 2: Defining Beauty

By: @happycrazycon

After taking a day break from my tutor's tale, I'm back with Part 2, Defining Beauty. You may read Part 1: Acceptance and Rejection if you are interested. Some background information on how I am stirred to talk with youths since years ago: I used to visit schools to talk with the youths on some topics which they feel like asking and yet don't know where to ask. That was before I became a mom myself. Maybe I was thinking to be a listener to them or be a place where they can find answers safely, though I know it would be too noble to say I am available all the time or I know-it-all, because I am not. These are posts inspired from some conversations (with names changed to protect their privacy) I had with my students with some questions they confided in me, so they are also just some of my unpolished thoughts.

Caturday - Saturday is Catday

By: @claudiaz

Every Saturday we have an opportunity to post a picture once again in honour of our special furry friends whom we love so much!

Steem Witnesses, and why they matter!

By: @thekittygirl

The Steem blockchain is a huge database managed by servers. These servers verify the accuracy of the information contained by the "blocks" that are built as we create posts, comment/upvote on posts, and process financial transactions on the network through wallets and exchanges. These servers are called "witness servers" and are run by people called Witnesses.

What's the Best Thing a Child Has Taught You??

By: @sharoonyasir

If you follow me or have read a few of my blogposts, you would know how big of a fan I am of my son and how I keep reiterating that he is the biggest and the most important influence as well as teacher in my life. Undoubtedly, he has taught me many important lessons and literally, every day this beautiful, amazing and compassionate 4 year old boy teaches me a new and beautiful lesson.

When life throws you an invisibility cloak. . .

By: @shawnamawna

I didn't mean to disappear over the last couple of days. It feels weird to have a full 24 hours go by without a single post. But life happens, and these last two weeks have been booked solid with child-tending, appointments and hard thinking. What I mean is I've had a lot on my mind for a long time and it's all just started to shift into place. Tidy up. Make sense.

Smartphonephotography | Bench in San Diego, CA

By: @kimmiecfields

After a streak of 63 days of Mini Motivation postings, I was quite stuck yesterday morning. In case this is your first post of mine that you're reading, basically two months ago, I decided to block my first 21 minutes of my day to write a Steemit post of roughly 300 words, and do to it daily. Had been going on well for 63 days straight, until yesterday.

🌼

Until next time...

Much Love from Cape Town, South Africa xxx

Thanks @jaynie
Ever since I joined Steemitbloggers, I have loads of quality content to read, without having to go through loads of crap to find them. Thanks again for letting me in :0)

hahaha - VERY glad to hear that @simplymike :) I saw your post the other day about your feelings towards steemit.... Are you still feeling the same way? I think we all have our moments, but I hope it hasn't left you feeling permanently down about things..

No, by the time I had finished writing the post, I had been able to put things in the right perspective again :0)
One of my personal struggles is that I have the tendency to keep everything to myself. Keep it in my head and turn it around and around until it becomes a huge 'thing'.
Fighting my way back up after suffering from a depression, one of the things I'm trying to teach myself is to simply say what's on my mind or how I feel about things, especially when it's not a positive thing.
And I must say, it's kind of a relief to just be able to spit it out and move on. :0)

I TOTALLY relate @simplymike! sometimes (in fact, MANY times) being in your head is the worst place to be lol! And it is indeed a huge relief to offload. I have found that writing has helped me a great deal with that! Well, I am glad that you are doing and feeling better about it all round xoxoxoxox

Me too ;0)

I am sure ;) hehe

Okay I was going through this list and saw the post by @happycrazycon and since I had just read it, I was like '@jaynie sure knows how to choose the best posts' because I lvoed that one by @happycrazycon and then I saw my post and I was like '@jaynie sure knows how to love everyone'. Why are you so nice?? squishy hug xoxoxo

hahahaha!!! I suppose I could try being a little less nice... @sharoonyasir LOL - Juuuust kidding... although @zord189 will probably tell you I am actually mean as hell! hahaha :P

NAwwwwwwww.... @jaynie is the best. :D

stop fishing for upvotes @zord189 hehehehe :P

Hahahaha, darn it. Got found out.

Moving along

thanks a million for the mention @jaynie, really nice of you!

xxx pleasure :)

@steemitbloggers, you are doing a great job, gathering good content creators and making their work seen, but then I would suggest that when you make post like this, you also create room for intending participants, at least add a link to your discord channel and also state the criteria that qualifies a person to join. That's my humble suggestion.

Still your boy @royaltiesboss-eu

Thank you for your input @royaltiesboss-eu - much appreciated. The reason I do not do that however is because we are a closed community and new members are by invite only. :)

Alright @jaynie, I do understand, well let me officially declare my interest to join this group, so I wonder if I can get an invite.

Still your boy @royaltiesboss-eu

You are welcome to DM me with your steemit handle directly in discord and then I will add it to the list of keen beans :) jaynie#9450

Chat again soon ;)

Great compilation of all the posts!

Thanks :)
