Steam Power, Does It Influence Your Ranking?

I'm still new to the whole steemit community and I'm trying to find out all the info possible that will help my blog thrive.

So my question is, does steam power help in getting your article have more views? What if I bought $100 worth of steem and delegated it towards my Power, what does the do?

Follow up question, when you upvote people's articles and they get let's say a penny from me, does that take away from me in anyway?

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
