Hello, welcome to another edition of THE INTERVIEW, for the sake of those just viewing this for the first time, the interview is a series i created with the intention to get the opinion of steemians towards a better steemit community and also to build a closer family here..

In the previous Editions, i was priviledge to have a conversation with two charming steemians: @soldier and @papa-pepper respectively and they were both an exciting experience for me.

Today, we will be having another superb guest, trust me you don't wanna miss out on this so get yourself some chilled icecream and be ready to Read.

I present to you our guest for today's edition (3rd edition) of the Interview, the founder of a fast rising contest here on steemit. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, meet STEEMITS GOT TALENT founder

@jemimah: hello sir, nice having you on THE INTERVIEW, can we get to know a little about you?

@Bambam808: My name is Billy, and I grew up on the big island of Hawaii. I have recently relocated to the mainland US. I am a man of many trades, but currently specialize in high end home automation installation and programming for lutron/savant/control4 systems. I am a huge gamer, but also enjoy hiking,fishing, and camping. I am a big fan of tennis and try to play often.

@jemimah: what an entry!! Nice meeting you once again. So how did you get to know about steemit?

@Bambam808: I found steemit while I was checking out the web one day. It was actually a bit of “destiny” if you ask me. I happened to research something that hit a steemit SEO (Search Engine Optimization) word. Mind you, this was back in december of 2016 when steemit.com was much smaller than it is today. So yeah, I was silent and observing, network, commenting and curating for almost 6 months before I decided to become an active poster.

@jemimah: destiny indeed! I know about your SGT (steemits got talent) contest can you explain better what it is about, what inspired you and everything we can know about SGT?

@Bambam808: I wanted to create a contest for all those who dont have a mainstream “talent”. For all those people who can do those quirky awesome things that none would think of doing? IE acroyoga, digiridoo etc Well this is for them! But it doesnt exclude those with mainstream talent IE singing dancing etc. I wanted to create a safe and positive/uplifting stage where these people can show talents without judgment, feeling nothing but love from the community.

@jemimah: i actually love that passion..keep it up. For those of you reading this, I also.participated in the week7 of SGT and i came third👏👏💪💃. So sir what are the ups and down that you've faced here on steemit?

@Bambam808: So far steemit has been an amazing place, but there have been hard times. I would say I am doing well right now and have found my niche as well as made many promising relationships along the way. So this is my “up”. I had my down when I first started posting, as Many people will agree. I would spend hours upon hours creating crafting and perfecting a post, only to release it and get a few upvotes if I was lucky, but usually one... my one. This was a sobering thing that was hard to face. This is when I realized there certain “trends” on steemit, just as there is on any other platform, and in live!

@jemimah: I totally agree with you on this...you just have to find the trend that you fit in!
Quickly, what can you suggest to improve the current status of steemit?

@Bambam808: I think the platform is amazing and is running very well. The only thing I want to see/I know we all will see is a huge rise in STEEM Price! Can I get a AMMMEEENN? Haha, no but really I think the community is doing an amazing job in collectively stepping up an taking care of this “child”

@jemimah: AMEEEN!! Pastor, I believe your prophecy! Having been on this platform for quite a while now can you name three of your favourite steemian and why?

@Bambam808: My current 3 favorite steemians... hmmm really putting me on the spot here huh? Lets see... Well Currently, I really enjoy the reports and news released by @stephenkendal and @kingscrown . Those are my market report go-tos. For my humor I tend to hit up @sirlunchthehost 's page/posts, as he is always releasing humorous stuff. Lastly @adsactly and @officialfuzzy are whales that I truly look up to. They are doing and have been doing amazing things for the steemit community. They have supported many awesome projects and initiatives that without them, may not have come to fruition as quickly or at all.

@jemimah: that's way more than three...hopefully i'm gonna become someones' favourite steemian one day. Lastly on the show today can you give us a little advice, especially to the upcoming steemians like me?

@Bambam808: Network, Network, and Network. Get on steemit.chat (I prefer discord, for voice calling is a blessing). But yes, I was having a chat with some people on discord the other talking about steemit being mainly about networking. If you dont go out and meet the community and support them, how can you expect them to do the same for you? Steemit is a small chain of karma. Treat others with respect, and you will get respect. So go on, get out there and truly connect with people!

@jemimah: I hope we all heard that! Wow..its been an amazing time with you sir. I must appreciate your time spent here with me and also your good works on steemit..keep the flag flying.
