In life generally when you want to start up something the news about it will not go viral for a while but gradually people are hearing about it if you continue with it. Same thing applies to Steemit, if you are not making money yet you don't have to quit, all you need do is KEEP STEEMING
I love asking people ahead of me the challenges they encountered when they are just starting up something and personally I feel preparing for similar kind of challenge will make me stand firm when it hits me. Even at 43 in reputation, at times I earn nothing, but that didn't stop the fact that I earn in some of my posts. You have to always think of something to give to the community, if you focus more on making quick money on Steemit it won't take you anywhere. When I was still about a week old even though I wasn't earning SBD, I was very happy with the knowledge i was gaining by reading other people's contents.
Steemit is a place to be, don't stop steeming, stay in the community, keep steeming and gain enough knowledge for yourself as well.
