As I was browsing and reading some posts on Steem, I stumbled upon this blog post from @isacoin: "Steemit.com page for @thedarkoverlord "doesn't exist" use Steempeak or Busy, to stay up to date" wherein one account with the name @thedarkoverlord was apparently censored from Steemit.com after posting some... 'serious' stuffs (like some solid proofs about the 9/11 incident being an inside job or something)
If someone tries to view his blog on Steemit.com, they will get this:
This is not the first account to be somewhat 'deleted' on Steemit though as 3 months ago a user with the handle @mateja.klaric requested his/her account to be deleted from Steemit and was then deleted by Steemit Inc per his/her request.

As some of you might already be aware of: Steemit ≠ Steem. An account might have been somewhat 'deleted' from Steemit but the posts/comments that account have published to the Steem blockchain is still there and will remain on the blockchain for eternity.
That is why if you use other Steem front-ends like Busy.org, Steempeak.com, Esteem or even look at it directly on any Steem Block Explorers you'll still see their blog posts/comments. Their contents might have been removed from Steemit.com but not on other Steem front ends.
Anyway looking at the GDPRUserList, there are now 6 accounts that were somewhat 'deleted' from Steemit.

The first four account listed above seems to have requested theirselves to delete the account on Steem as what this comment from smitop says. As for the other two, who knows?! Censorship?! Copyright claims?! XD
