I must say that I don’t watch a lot of videos on SteemIt. I prefer written content, because videos take away too much of my time.
Guess what? I watched yours from the beginning to the end 😁
Good tips, straight to the point and explained in a very clear way. Thanks for that.
I was already aware of the tips you mention in the video, and I do my best to follow them all. The hardest part is coming up with good content. I don’t believe in copy-paste, so I write my own posts. Unfortunately there’s nothing in particular I’m good at or know a lot about. I only know a little of everything. That makes it hard to write expert posts.

And then I see people posting nothing more than a meme, someone else’s video or a post written in a kind of English you can hardly understand and they’re still earning loads of money with each of those post. That’s a little discouraging, to say the least.

Anyway, it’s not my intention to give up. If I don’t try, I will never improve my skills.
Meanwhile, I’ll be keeping an eye out for your posts 👍🏼

Awesome @mike314-0005 Thank your for your comment and support! I will be doing another video here in the next few days with more tips from students in my Steemit course! I think you will like that post!

Sincerely,
@joeparys

I love your attitude. Especially when you remind us to do our best at everything we do, not just what we get paid to do. So true of everything in life. Thanks for the info video. Very helpful for a newbie like me. Following. Blessings

Thank you @gatorlynne yes it is important to have a positive mindset and attitude even when the results are showing :( and giving your best effort in everything you do is an excellent habit to have!

Sincerely,
@joeparys

Resteemed @joeparys 😀😎👍

Thank you!! :D

Sincerely,
@joeparys

I must say your tips really worked, especially the one on commenting. I have made some good progress in the few days I have been here. Commenting insightful and well thought opinions, tips or controversial thoughts is the way to go in the beginning. as you pick up some followers and let people know you're there makes it easier afterwards to get your own posts out there.

Awesome! Yes responding to comments and being engaged is one of the best ways to build a following :) Keep up the good work!

Sincerely,
@joeparys

Your video is the first video I've seen on Steemit and I didn't regret it! Very helpful! I'm starting right away..

Awesome @kisrael welcome to steemit and I will be coming out with more videos soon!

Sincerely,
@joeparys

Thanks for the post!
Good info. Look forward to your future information.

You're complaining about a post that only made $7, but I'd be happy if I could get one to make $7. lol I did have one that made about $41 a few months ago, so that's encouraging, but most of mine have made pennies, or nothing at all.

I won't give up however, and I do earn a very little on curating, and do even better by commenting.

Thanks for your video, it does give me hope, and as soon as I'm financially able I plan on investing as much cash as I can into Steemit.

Keep the faith @rip-youtube and be persistent! The more you post the more opportunity you have to gain more followers and upvotes!

Sincerely,
@joeparys

Thanks for the inspiring words. I will keep at it, and my 100% vote just got elevated from $0.02 to $0.03! lol Every little bit helps. It's looking like I'll be able to invest about $200 into Steem in about a week, which I'll immediately Power Up, so my Steemit future is getting brighter every day. Baby Steps!

The very good thing about your posts is that you put a video in it which makes it easier to understand. Your posts are always helpful for me. I get alot from them.

Valuable content. I've just started on my Steemit journey, but I'm looking to make the most of my time here so will be rewatching your tip videos a few times!

Awesome @philnewton thanks for your support and excited to see your content here as well!

Sincerely,
@joeparys

This was for me also, the first video that i ever watched on this platform. I much more prefer writings, where I can scroll down and get to the point faster faster. We live in the era of technology, and 10 minutes, oh, man, it is a lot of time! :) I was surprised to watch it until the end. Very good summarized and great logic in behind.

I am instinctively fallowing the same guides for being successful (except no 1 - invest into steem) because honestly, I don't really have from where to get it, even the little bit. So I try, from scratch to be my best version of myself and to earn as much Steem as possible, without coming in with an advantage.

I mostly write now about my ecological attitude towards the Earth, my plastic free experiments and some philosophical thoughts. A bit of everything. Am thinking if something specialized would work better, but as I feel I am a diverse person, I enjoy this playground for manifesting myself. I don't have GREAT success yet and I have an issue with the PATIENCE :) I am looking forward for that day when I will just post something and wake up the next day with hundreds of likes. Maybe when I will get the right friends :) I am working on that. But as in real life, friendship and connections take a while to develop. Rome wasn't build in a day.

  • end of the monologue -

Thanks @purplemoon for your comment and support! Yes Rome was not built in a day and its the understanding and application that deliver the results! Excited to see your posts!

Sincerely,
@joeparys

Nice tips! I've got just one question: You said that you invested 26,000 USD in Steem. Looking at your wallet, I'm asking myself: what happend to them? :-)

In case you sold them, here's tip no. 6 for you to earn thousands in rewards: Don't ever sell your Steem.

See you around ;-)

Thanks for your advice. Yesterday I really started with posting on steemit so I can use the tips.

I absolutely love your video. I'm planning on investing a few thousand dollars in Steam here within the next few days or so. I find the advice you're sharing with people to be extremely helpful and I'm glad there's people like you. but don't mind taking the time and explaining. All about the things you've learned since you've been on steemit. I don't know how long it's going to take me to build up my reputation. However I'm hoping but I can gradually pick up and gain some more momentum so far I've been long here for a month I've been posting every day I have almost 3,000 followers and I'm still only made about $8.50 total I'm hoping if I buy steem I can make a lot more. it takes a lot of time and a lot of work for a newbie like me to even get one foot up. But post Like yours give us hope that one day we'll be able to grow into a whale ourselves. And spend our time voting up the little guy. thanks again I will follow you and I don't even care if you follow me back.

I have taken your Steemit course and it helped me a lot. You introduced me to Steemit. Thank you very much

Awesome video!Like your work

Thank you for the tips

Thank you! Very helpful video. I'm brand new to this community & I have TONS of original content from short films, music videos, dancers, athletes, documentaries, Travel, special events etc... this seems like the perfect platform. Check out my first post, it's a 2 minute short film, would love to hear your thoughts.

@joeparys....this is amazing...
Its so amazing that i had to watch it on youtube and even download it so i can show it to those i'll tell about the steemit platform..
I have been on steemit since October this year and though i haven't been able to achieve much, this video has given me a different view on how to make it on steemit. I've never seen investing on steemit as important but now i do, thanks to you...
