MILESTONE: 3,000 + Steemit Followers!

I wanted to reach out and say "THANK YOU!" to all of the amazing people who follow me here on Steemit as I've just surpassed 3000 followers!

This journey is in its infancy but even here one year after joining, I can't emphasize enough how much of an incredible journey it has been.

The community is incredible and that alone is enough to love posting and communicating on this platform. There's a demand to actually be civil, discuss issues and make friends. The incentive is the fact that here on Steemit, you are a product and you must have good customer service. When people have to worry about their reputation, they're less likely to hide behind a computer screen and troll people.

Then there's the financial incentive of being on Steemit where it provides an opportunity to those of us shunned by the dinosaur social medias like Facebook, Twitter and of course YouTube as anyone with an opinion that isn't establishment sanctioned is shoved away or "algorithmed" into oblivion.

Especially for myself as an independent media reporter who started from nothing, YouTube has demonetized basically everything I post as "hate speech" despite me only really reporting on markets, the monetary system, pensions, freedom and the odd video where it is rightly controversial. The Anti-Defamation League has come in and decided everything I say is "hate speech" so it has taken away my ability to make a proper living off of ad revenue and continue the operation I work on 18 hours a day every single day.

Well Steemit has truly saved me. All of you, you've saved me and I can't thank you enough. The free market always has an answer to every problem and it's a beautiful thing!

As Steemit's potential has barely been met, we are on the ground floor of history. Believe it. We just have to continue to spread the word. Consider it a responsibility for the sake of our future. The future of the flow of information.

So as I close this piece off, I once again thank you for 3000 followers and can't wait to continue posting here every day as I approach 30,000.
