I am but a neophyte in STEEMIT but my first few days had done me sheer happiness. It does not only make my evenings productive but also worthwhile as I am able to unleash the writer and the poetic side of me. Yes, since childhood, I always love to write serving as my sole medium of expressing the way I look at things and how I feel about life's realities. And I am so grateful to have this opportune time being accepted in the portals of Steemit. So long have I waited to find a site where I can feel at home, where I can grow and make use of my writings, not just to earn a living out of it but to touch others' lives. Yes, I belong to a poor family. We have no acres of real properties to guarantee us a good life nor possess some bundles of wealth to ensure that we will never hunger. I need to work, I need to labor whichever way that I can for us to survive. My only investment is the talent endowed to me by the Most High. Each one of us does have, only that we need to develop them and use them wisely and positively.
