Two scientists have announced the discovery of an atomic event, which can be so explosive that they first decided to keep it secret. The paper related to the search has been published in the famous journal Nature 'Last Wednesday'. Its author is Egyptian physicist Marek Carliner of Tel Aviv University and Jonathan L. Rosner of Chicago University.
Fusion of bottom quark particles can be eight times stronger than hydrogen bone
The horrific explosion that has been discovered by both scientists has not yet seen the human being. They have shown that the bottom quark particles can be fused in theoretical form and this can lead to a horrific explosion. Together with the explosion, they will become larger nuclei particles. Quarks are small particles that collect and form neutrons and protons within the atom. These are six types: up, down, top, bottom, strange and charms. Both scientists have shown that after fuse of such two bottom quarks, the energy of 138 MW will be generated, which is 8 times more than the energy produced by the fusion of two particles in hydrogen bombs. Hydrogen bombs are fired by the hydrogen nucleus present in the nucleus and by fusing the helium nucleus. In the fusion of two such particles, energy of 18 megawatenwolts is produced. However, the only fusion reaction to connect the two particles is not a dangerous phenomenon. The strength of the hydrogen bomb actually comes from the chain reaction which starts with the fusion of two particles and billions of particles join. Let us say that this chemical reaction of helium to form helium in the formation of helium and generating enormous energy in this reaction is in the center of the stars so that they can generate energy on such a large scale.
#Military use of this search is not possible
"I believe that when I first realized that such a nuclear reaction was possible, I was scared." Co-author Carliner of this study told LiveScience.com in a statement. But Carliner and Rosner counted that such a chain reaction of bottom quark could not be possible. Apart from this, before publishing his search, he talked with his colleagues privately about this and was confident. 'If even for a microsecond I knew that its military use is possible then I do not publish it.' Carliner said.
#Chain reaction of quark particles is not possible
To start a chain reaction, the nuclei bomber needs a complete repository of these particles. But because of the internal quality of quark particles, their reserves can not be collected. After these are formed, within 1 picosecond, the ends become transformed into quarks, which are very low energy. Although a phenomenon of quark alone can be done in a long particle accelerator of quark particles, but in accelerators it can not be collected in such a large number that it can be a threat to the world. Despite this, the search is exciting.
