I just came back to the platform to take a glance on what's happening here. Steemit is still far away from mass adoption, we need friendly user interface mobile apps and easiness of logging in for the masses of the people.
I can not ask my parents to introduce a private key and log in to a website from the phone in order to blog.

Mass adoption can be quite tricky, one hand it increases the price of steem and increases networking in the community, on the other hand handling lots of people coming onto the platform is quite tough. Currently staying on this platform alone seems tough because new users are finding it difficult to be incentivised to continue being on this platform.
