I use Distrokid to put my music out there. It's very cheap imho at 20$/year for what they offer. I'm kinda new to putting my music out there. We released a single to test it and made 0.08$ this year.
Not sure that this is the most profitable model. They say we keep 100% but I think you need at least hundreds of thousands of plays to get something significant.
I like platforms like steem where it could mean the money gets directly into the artists wallet but it is so difficult to get noticed here. I posted 1 video clip that got 5K like on facebook and here it only 2-3 and one is a friend I asked to upvote :/
