I started this morning with a long comment replying to an offended downvotee (remember that I invented this word!) I shouldn't really use this much time on such things, and I admit that it got slightly out of hand. I became the righteous Midwestern land owner - I became Brutus in that famous Cesar speech. All I need now is a clever Marc Antony replying and my day will be completely destroyed.
I am seeing a lot of three-years-on-Steemit birthday posts, so some of the old bloggers are still here. This post by @alienbutt that I reshared yesterday actually got me thinking: Marking 3 years on steemit.. It was some slightly nostalgic thoughts I must admit, but one of the things that struck me was that at some point a blogger wants to use the steem he or she worked for, and after that they sort of disappear. Some of them still posts, but their income seem to drop and many of them vanish. Those of us who just kept powering up are still here... Not sure what it means, but it made me think.
I would very much have preferred to keep all those funny and intelligent people here, and still see them being able to use some of their Steem on a boiler.
And talking about old bloggers I better include this:
Cabbage Carly was moaning in that strange enticing fashion that was so typical for her during lovemaking. The sounds mixed with the pussyfarts metronomically following the slapping sound of my thrusts. I must say that I enjoyed the whole thing... until the horrible smell took away my joy.
(@nonameslefttouse (in my head his name has always been: No Names Left House) has been in trending twice and I am not one to reject his advice.)
So what am I getting at? Not much really. This is a Morning Page - a #morgenseiten invented by my friend @shortcut back in the days when Steemit was young and fun and guileless. It was before the war!
The morning-pages are simple devises. Here is @shortcut's explanation of the project:
It goes like this: you shall each morning write from the soul, anything going through your head.
He wrote a lot more, and in German, but the above is the essence :) (Read his first morgenseiten post here)
All graphics on this page is free and CC-by if you should be tempted to write a morning rant.
Remember to downvote things that deserve a downvote.
Glad I can make people think, doesn't happen often so a welcome event.
Need to catch up with the present drama and what is happening on the wider platform but I'll take it slow and just ease back into steemit.

Well, fork21 armed the citizens with free downvotes, made it harder for the little people posters to earn money, and gave a larger part of the reward 50% to the curators.
Right now I am just happy to be able to do something about the swindlers and downvote them. A few of the whales are also doing this so I feel everybody should support the efforts.
But I just looked through my autovoter - so many of the ones I trusted enough to give them a regular upvote has left :(

Maybe more will come back as a level playing field is returned.

I really hope they will, but some of them got so sick and tired of it It might be doubtful.
I have asked you here: https://steemit.com/molteteste/@katharsisdrill/the-molteteste-story if you want to join in a small game of story...

Only found this while a bit drunk so need a bit to sober up and come up with a story but I'm up for trying.

Cool, no need to take it more serious than that. It's just an experiment. Tell me if you need suggestions for a illustrator.
