In retrospect

in steemit •  6 years ago

Its 2k19 and as you would imagine, most people are pumped about it. The resolutions, the drinking, the feasting ...the feeling of having hit restart on your life just by crossing into the new year.

All this is great but for me it was a reflective moment, one i had to pause, access, take stock of things, plan and ultimately commit to God. I don't know about others but i am extremely grateful for all i have been able to accomplish last year....through my personal humanitarian projects, my work, and my introduction into the blockchain community by my good friend and brother @lordjames getting to met great people from diverse regions of the world all unifies by technology (cryptotech), although we witnessed the rise and dip of cryptocurrencies, i still remain a firm believer that the steemit blockchain has immense potential to attract institutional investors due to its committed communities and vast network of DAPPs that are already on it and can be built on the platform.

So all in all i enter the year optimistic for the future of the steemit blockchain and its communities. I heard that the grand patron of the @steemjet community seems to be losing fate, and just as i can't mention your name just wanted to let you know your impact is being felt even if you don't feel like it is right now. Millions appreciate the work you are doing. Another community i would like to appreciate is the @wafrica team you guys are doing a splendid job.

So for now i leave you all with a happy new year and wish you all greater exploits in 2k19 than you ever achieved in 2k18.
