Hello steemians!! I will be discussing today on how to use steemit tags.

I have notice a lot of new user has made a lot of mistake on there first post on how to use there introduction tags, I also made the same mistake in my first post of introduction and so many of my other post, till I got to know how to make use of tags from @michealcj.

My tutorial today, I will start with the new steemians and other old steemians

Introduction Tags.
Some new steemians has made a lot of mistake in their introduction post, and main reason is that, no one guide them on how to use steemit tags and can't locate were all tags is, to check which one will match there post.

All introduction post must contain "introduceyourself, introduction" and any other tag which you will like to write on. and you can add the name of your country, just to show the country you are from. With does tags any steemian seeing your post will know it's an introduction lost.

I introduce a friend of my to steemit and all guide her on how to use Tag on her post 2 months back, her post hit $80.00 in first hour.@folakere

How To locate steemit Tags

When you login on your blog, click on the horizontal line on the top right side.

The option page will open, then click on explore.

Now you can see all steemit tags and how people have post, comments and payout on each tags. When you click on does tags you can view trending post on does tags.

Contest Tags

This is the tags you are ask to use as first tag in a post you created for any entry of a contest. "Untalented, bwphotocontest" and many other. If you are not going for contest your are not expected to use all does contest tag.

Taging

I have notice some old steemians make same mistake of using there post title as tag and people name as tags, with all does wrong tags people will hardly see your post, and you can also end up earning $0.00. this have make may steemian to have left there blog.

Right Tags

Using the right tag make it very easy for any steemians to locate post which he want to read, for example a steemians want to read story, all he have to do is to click on story tag and all story trending on that tags will show up.
