STEEMIT can potentially do everything REDDIT does and FB...and much much more.
Take a look at this quote:
"As for the deal, the $50 million round would be for about 10 percent of Reddit, according to Re/code’s sources. That would give the company an estimated $500 million valuation. Last year Reddit was also rumored to be raising a funding round, just $1 million for a $400 million valuation. Investors included in the alleged new round would likely include Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, and even Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian, who rejoined Reddit as a board member years ago."
Are we worth more than Reddit? Lets hear from the community.
I don't think Steem is at Reddit's level quite yet, but it is growing exponentially and I could see it reaching a Reddit-like level within a years time!

Every social network has the potential to be valuable based on its features and functionality, but the real deciding factor is whether or not it succeeds in attracting tons of regular people. I think Steemit has a good chance of doing just that and providing great, useful features.

Actually, I disagree. I won't vote you down though.
IMHO, Steem is can be valued WAY more than reddit in the short-term already.
Long-term, this has potential to pass moon and go for Mars.
