PSA: STEEM Wallet on Binance Suspended for Withdrawals!

in steemit •  7 years ago

For start this is only for withdrawals, deposits are working fine.

Everyone who reads my blog knows i trade loads on Binance as its a top exchange with really nice UI and features. I have been busy last days so came today to check how STEEM looks there and found this. They are already top4 volume now!

To be fair, when deposits are allowed this stops situations with fake pumps. Its just little headache if you need cash out. IOTA network is suspended from withdrawals often too.

STEEMs Spot

For now we are top104 in volume but we are still a few days old coin and there was huge BTC dump yesterday. More volume will come soon im sure.

What exchange do you recommend for converting BTC to XMR that has high volume?

pretty much every major exchange

For example I checked shapeshift.io, and their limit was 0.5 BTC. Are there others with higher limits?

Just send BTC straight to Steemit.

That sucks. I thought Binance had everything together. There is not a lot of place to trade Steem at the moment. Why are they having so many issues?

Thanks for the info. I love Binance...

Binance is awesome, I am just excited for Robinhoods fee free trading! Like imagine that, no fee's is huge for crypto

Why did they do it?
It is a bad start.

umm why they suspend steem wallet

Just send the BTC straight to steemit lol

Last I checked, Blocktrades charges 2-5% (implicitly, by their rates offered) for conversion to Steem, which is really really bad.

I posted about this as well.

One thing that I have observed is STEEM and BTS wallets are generally in maintenance mode for longer on many exchanges when compared to other coins. I am not sure what the reason is. Is it because there are less BTS and Steem in circulation when compared to other coins or is it because of some technical challenges with these coins.

Sometime I feel that it has something to do with the zero transfer charges. May be exchanges cannot make profits when people withdraw from their exchanges as the transfer charges are zero. If not it should be the easiest as Steem 3 second transfer rate and hasslefree when compared to other coins. What do you think? @kingscrown

I wholeheartedly agree @kingscrown, I think the whirlpool that Steem is causing will be like the Bermuda triangle for platforms like YouTube and Facebook.

Once the momentum starts it will be next to impossible to stop Steem, especially with this community. I can see platforms like the usual suspects that people use now ending up like Myspace and the other long, lost, and forgotten. Zhao Changpeng (C-Z) is definitely on my list of heroes!

Yeah, patience is a virtue!

Steem is going to Crush the market this year!!! Guys get ready for a massive Bull run very soon!!

Oh yeah!

I agree

I agree. I just realized the potential of steemit recently and this platform is going to be huge. LIke honestly this is amazing.

True especially in crypto

Yeah!

LOL memes on fire!

Yeah we're firing!

Get down!!!

Our community is growing, lets be happy and say "steemit"

To deposit from Bitshares to Binance al so not works

Beautiful steem

I think we need to wait .. it has just been added so problems always come . But I realized one thing.. when the market crashed , Steem still maintained itself

Hi, need ur support , vote me as I try my level best for good posts....

Hopefully it is not for too long, people might be trying to power up and earn more here.
It would be awesome if they add steem dollars to their exchange :)

Growing pains

In times like this, it is very easy to panic. One just has to fight one's normal human reaction, take lots of deep breathes and HODL.

Its nothing, Steem will be fully signed up soon @kingscrown

Yes shure it will come. Its just the beginning STEEm get listed on Binance. I hope SBD will come too soon.

Poloniex is the same story so is there actually legit something wrong with the system that we cant withdraw?

O.O Que, en serio? is true?

This happens often on Binance, not ideal, but it's the reality of having currency in an exchange.

So far it is only the 4th largest Steem exchange.

the best way to get the steem coin to hit the moon is talk about it on social media sites, I think it is the best thing to offer rewards for our time and content, upvote to everyone.

https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@tanvirabedin/dogecoin pls follow and upvote me i also doing this.... pls

Own account suspended for withdrawals?
Damn..
That meams the site isnt good

Anyway am new to steemit also
I now have my introduction post
Please check up

No, they just added steemit so have not enabled withdrawal for whatsoever reason. However if yiu deposit steem, you can easily convert to Bitcoin and Withdraw. Another question here is, why would you deposit steem to withdraw it afterwards?

Most people depositing steem would probably want to convert to Bitcoins and then to cash.

I'm sure the patience will be worth it

This may cause some people to panic.

It looks like people dumping steem to much.

That's a bit frustrating, I presume trades are still possible? If so then I guess it's a case of just trading to a withdraw-able currency?

@kingscrown this information made my day

For start this is only for withdrawals, deposits are working fine.

Lol...You're so funny....Of course, you can add money to their coiffers! They're (and other exchanges, too!) are HODL...your deposits...lol...

Oh dear...I hear the naysayers..."told you it was a ponzi scheme"...lol...

Peace.

Typical for them to disable withdrawal of new listed coins, nothing to fear it will enable after the initial surge of deposits.
