I think the better conclusion would be, people need to make sure that what they flag actually IS spam, and not something debunking a scam or something like that. Because how do you debunk a scam or investigate it without talking about it?
On the other hand, if people don't flag spam or scams... then Steemit will end up looking like the junk folder of your e-mail. Which we definitely don't want.
Maybe changing up the title, or adding text explaining would help? Like "Why this is a scam!"
Not sure what your other posts looked like but... if there's no other info, and you're talking about a scam that people know is a scam... yeah, good chance people are going to flag it without even watching.
fair enough and what you just said it exactly how it should be...but only in a perfect world. But you made a very good point with the title suggestion i will for sure do that next time! thanks for the feedback, truly appreciated.
Just trying to figure out the best solution from both sides of the fence. Too much flagging, or flagging for wrong reasons becomes censorship... but not enough and we're sailing the spammy seas.
Yeah, there will probably still be people who don't even read the post/watch the video (though I think we've probably all been that person at some point), and they just get flag happy, but... what can we do, right? All we can do is to do our best.
