I agree with everything you said except for upvoting one's post, just the blog and not the comments. i think it is our right to be rewarded for our effort, it is just a tiny favor for our selves. If there is no self voting, there is still room for being not appreciated on what youre sharing because you'll still hope for nothing. i dont think that's enjoyable if it's consistent. Posting Quality content sucks for me! I dont write that good but no matter how hard i poured my heart out into it, it still sucks. I have decided to share what i want to share, i give up on putting effort on quality posts. Just as long as im not copy-pasting i think im fine.
