The largest chat messenger WhatsApp will soon allow you to share almost all kind of file types across both the platform i.e. Android, iOS and Windows phone. According to a report from the sources, WhatsApp is already rolling out this feature to some users in its beta version of WhatsApp.
This feature will also be available for WhatsApp web with the maximum of 64MB of a file you can share. However, the file sharing size is limited to 128MB for iOS and 100MB for Android.
Now, the messenger giant will be adding functionality to integrate files like .zip and .apk on its platform. One more interesting feature will arrive is that from this update the .jpg extension images will not be compressed by WhatsApp. This feature is very beneficial for those who didn't like the compression feature of WhatsApp.
The company is still working on other file sharing features but seems that this is almost ready to roll out. So you can enjoy these interesting and handy features of WhatsApp very soon.
