I'm starting a survey-poll-post questionnaire to get data from the Steemit userbase. We can better understand where we each are and where we want to go by sharing our motivations.
This is the first survey-poll question.
Survey-Poll Question:
• Why Are You On Steemit.com?
Suggested Answers:
1. I want Money
2. I want to create Light Content
3. I want to create Quality Content
4. I want to find/view/read Light Content
5. I want to find/view/read Quality Content
6. I want to Socialize with others
7. I want to Comment
Comment additions:
8. I want to change the world
9. I want a larger audience for my content
10. I want to spread cryptocurrency through Steemit
11. I want my content protected from deletion
12. I want to curate content I value
13. I want to be part of a revolution
14. I want to be part of creating a decentralized future
Please comment with your answer, or also suggest another valid category and I can edit the post to add it in the list for others to think about. It's not a strict poll, but please keep your answers relevant to the question.
If you have more than one reason, then please weigh them in order of importance.
I will be trying to assess where users see themselves on the platform, and what their expectations are from the platform. This will help get an idea of some of the motivations for the community and what direction people expect to go in moving forward.
Thank you all for your participation and for letting me know what you think. Let's find like-minded people to unite and grow with!
Thank you for your time and attention! I appreciate the knowledge reaching more people. Take care. Peace.
If you appreciate and value the content, please consider:

Money is always good and getting paid for creating good content is a major draw for me, but it's not the first priority.
I came here because I want to get my writing, my content out to more readers and this seemed a perfect opportunity. The fact that I 'get paid' is a welcome but secondary feature.
Good post, thanks :)

I should add that it wasn't intentional but I like to look at "the other side", which is a lot easier here then on any other platform I have used.

I really enjoy to create quality content. I create this for fun, but getting paid in Steem is the reason as to why I chose to publish here on Steemit instead of on other blog platforms. After getting feedback on my posts, I started to get even more motivated to post here, because comments on my posts are really exciting, and I don't usually get a lot of feedback on my other platforms.
