classic! I've seen others do this as well. believe it or not, it's one of the best ways to "get them back", as it kills their conning ROI while trying to find gullible people to scam off. For them, it's like making 100 STEEMIT posts in a row with < 5 cent payouts.
In fact, that's why these scammers try to be so "obvious". It helps them more quickly hone in on the most gullible bunch of people they can find.

Nah, really, I had a call once while at lunch with my Dad. Hadn't seen him in awhile. Jamaica guy called with a fake name, and he said I won a car. I think I asked him some specifics about it to jerk his chain. It ended up being something stupid like a Chevy Escalade or GMC Tahoe or some such oddity. Told my dad I just won a car, set the phone down on mute, and kept eating.
