#Steemit is being an great experience for my so far! wonderfully exciting posts, learning amazing tips & tricks, reading stories to wander and move in. And of course interacting and connecting with other steemers.

However, I just recently joined 1 week ago and I’ve done some research and a little bit of homework.

Because the big question I asked myself was: “How do I ensure that people see my post? How do I get more followers? How do I get big on steemit?”

Well, I really can not judge about that yet. But I did find out that many people use upvoting bots. Since my priority is not directly in investing in cryptocurrency, I have found a different way which might also help you as a starter to get more attention for your blog and steem reputation.

So last week I’ve been introduced to Discord, with Steemit's limitation on actually connecting with people, Discord fills that gap of creating communities where people can share their work, ideas, and whatever else is on their mind. And it’s an amazing way you can get help from each other (like people with low steempower). Interact with the community members and that will allow you to quickly build steempower, getting upvotes, comments and building your position on #steemit.

So what is Discord?

#Discord is nothing more than a chat service, just like #Whatsapp and #Kik but it allows you to create specific channels or rooms. Each room can be on a different subject, so it's easy to find the content you're looking for. Discord is also easy to set up, a profile and a new group alike. It can go anywhere use it in your Laptop’s web browser or download the Discord app for your iOS or Android. It takes about a day to learn how to use, So it is extremely user friendly. If you don't want to receive too many notifications from a specific server or group just change notification settings to mentions, so that you receive only the relevant things.
When you join, you'll have the choice of simply connecting through your browser, or you can download the Discord app to install as a standalone program. Why do I Use It?

Rules

Discord admins didn't make their servers so that you can seed your links like crazy. Each server has a set of the rules. So, before you do anything, read what those rules are. In some servers you will have to perform daily tasks to keep membership, in some you will have to pay to use community voting bots...

Benefits to join Discord Group related to steemit

If you join discord then you can connect with steemit member by chat. You can promote your post in postpromotion. You can help someone or someone may help you, you can also collaborate to understand concept related to steemit. To join these discord Group you have to first sign up on Discord

Which is your personal favorite?

I've joined a bunch of these. There are so many! Lots of good conversation. I guess this is like the PM system alternative for this social network - and based around groups.

Thanks for sharing. I found the Discords very exciting when I just joined them. This is a link to one that I use the most. Platforms The persons in here interact with each other a lot. They help persons build a platform for their community and website.
It's quite fun in there and members also earn PLATFORMS tokens in variousgiveaways

Hey Toni, anytime! Thank you for the tip, I just checked it. Unfortunately, every channel of this server has its chat function locked. So I have no idea how everyone communicates with each other. And if there is no interaction, then it seems to me that you can't earn tokens?
