Comparing @haejin's TA and my childish scribble! [STEEM/USD] past 2 months

in steemit •  6 years ago  (edited)

So I was interested in this whole TA of cryptos and I started on reading a few a books and courses that I haven't finished completely. Needless to say many of my technical analysis failed miserably ... until I decided to say screw this ... I'm going to scribble and call it a technical analysis and let's see how this goes

More than 2 month ago on March 18, I published my last idea in Tradingview.com. I just looked at the chart and decided to fire my artistic talents. The brush 🖌 was my only tool. No Elliott Waves, No Fibonacci, No fundamentals. Just right brain work. I scribbled a one year prediction for STEEM

And this is how it turned out so far

It may not be very accurate in price and timing but the pattern seems very good to me.

Now just for fun let's compare how @haejin's disciplined "professional" TA did in comparison to this childish scribble.

Haejin published his TA for STEEM/USD on 7th April

This how it turned out for him

Not bad to be honest but mine started 20 days before and extends for 1 year. Besides mine looks more natural.

Let's see how far we can go with this.

That account is such a joke

xD awesome TA. I approve of this method more than the traditional one.

TA is the apotheosis of scientism. There's no statistical validity, unfortunately.

And every prediction has a 50% chance of being correct, so even the most clueless bastard can be a God half the times.

Congratulation lifeaef! Your post has appeared on the hot page after 5min with 5 votes.
