Today one of my friends @ana-maria, has mentioned to me
"I think you got your nerve hit"
Which COULD be true, maybe it is because I am also a minnow trying to make something out of it.
I cannot remember exactly where I read it, but I did noticed that someone mentioned NOT to misuse randowhale services, when someone just tries to dump posts and just pay the service for a higher vote.
And today, someone hit a nerve on me when I tried to use the service and I got really low votes in return.
Then when I was checking on randowhale's status, I realised that there's this one account that has been spamming nothing but one youtube video with the word "Source" that points to the original video, then he (looking at the account name) deliberately uses the service to boost his post.
If you are doing this once or twice within the day is fine; but this account has been doing this for hours and every hour he posts about 4 - 6 posts of YouTube and then just buy the service. Draining randowhale's voting power (even though his account has been replenishing with rewards)
This obviously is a minnow (or a farmer for what was called on other post to earn social media) who just want to get fast money
He does not care what his contents were. He just want to get money out of it. I have checked and pretty sure that 100% of his YouTube posts is not made by him.
I have checked with the gurus here and heard that we can use flag features, but that won't be really useful either as this guy just dumps in posts after post.
And this makes me feel like this guy is "counterfeiting money" out of borrowed content.
It's like posting an advertisement poster of a product, like this yummy wrap below:
courtesy from bigsale.com.my
and selling it as if you are getting the wrap.
Does that make sense?
And furthermore there is this one account that always comment "great! and keep the post going" posted there. I am now wondering are they in the same syndicate team.
This is actually my very first rant in Steemit. haha. I hope something is done to it otherwise it is just going to be nothing but duplicate junk contents, with people getting away from it.
Back to the issue of the heart. A wonderful unbreakable community such as Steemit can still be manipulated if greed is never out of the heart.
Edited:
I found this interesting verse while cleaning my desktop
I think this sounds appropriate for those who succumbs to greed to rig this system.
Please click on the image to red why I have this project of 1000 SBD at the first place.
I never used randowhale but I heard it is a good service and am considering it. It would be a shame if the service would have to be discontinued or became useless due to abuse. I understand Steemit is still technically in beta but the sooner something is done to prevent this kind of behavior the better

I totally agree @erlik , this is not the way to improve our portfolio here when all we want is money and couldn't care less on what we post. What if one day YouTube has a royalty fee and it starts tracing over? (Which I am not certain whether it can do that), or someone here saw their content is being "stolen" and posted just to earn money?
There're tons of issue there which I do not understand why these people are doing it. Probably they are just too blinded with short term gain and most of them are vote beggars as one of the gurus here termed.
I actually came across this post is when he spammed his posts into steem.chat promotion when clearly the rule is to post 1 post every 2 hours.
Guess these people just do not care.

Never tried all these booster service, but I get what you saying. I guess it's inevitable when we mix monetary reward with social media. There will always be that one guy who shitpost to get to the top.
Btw, you can try @booster & @minnowbooster service, pretty cool concept. Slightly different than @randowhale.

Thanks for the suggestion @needmorefat . That's a good suggestion, but if these people keep coming in and use these services it will keep rigging the system.
I have minnow support with me at the moment, currently they are pretty awesome (a little complex to set up) but they have this awesome "cool down period" where you can only activate them one post a day.

Dear, you really made me laugh with this one!
The guy truly hits your nerve!
But, the advertisement poster with yummy wrap 'wrapped' with the proverb you have found is unbeatable!!! 😂

Yeah I guess so. Usually my friends said I can REALLY write when my nerve is hit (by annoyance or by horrifying surprise)
I am glad that made you laugh. It was supposed to be both "ranting" and entertaining. :p
By the way @ana-maria , the wrap is superb! It was a limited time only thing.

well written rant and i totally agree - this person is draining power of a good initiative and stealing rewards from all of us. Upvoted and resteemed

Thanks @uwelang I actually did not mind if there's one or 2 posts that were done in that way, but 4 - 6 posts every hour, that is way overboard. It's like a gambling addiction; seeing the rewards at hand and couldn't stop but want to get more (even though some of his posts were less than 2 SBD).
Thank you so much for upvoting and re-steeming. We need to get these people either repent or chased out before steemit is jammed by junk.

There is a bunch of rules for steemit. As long as steemit exists there were many discussions about the rules and their abuse. So it's not different this time regarding the support of randowhale. If its service is provided and not against the rules, why should not everybody be allowed to use it as it is implemented. For people who dont like this there are countermeasures as flagging or ignoring the authors.
By the way it is similar to the discussion about voting own content, even comments.
Shall I vote now my comment here or call randohale? I will not do so, but I hope somebody discovers it and gives me his little vote.

As I have mentioned, I really do not mind minnows use the service, but when people start to abuse it with the content that is not even theirs to begin with, then the post is relatively useless / redundant, and then when it uses services like randowhale to fake its value... you know where I am going?
It is not even randowhale anymore, it is the abuse that these minnows are trying to rip it off.
Maybe you agree such a way for whatever reasons. But definitely if your content is good and moreover from your own creation, it makes the service (randowhale or others) more meaningful, is it not?
Or perhaps that is not even your concern?

Surely you are right! But I believe into the inner power of steemit, which will force the result that oly the good will stay long here. We could also complain clearly overvalued posts which are pushed by crazy whales. This will drain the reward pool more than any abuse of randowhale could cause.

And that still goes back to the issue of the heart, dear @steemit.nemesis . Whether it is a minnow / farmer / whale that is just trying to hoard in all the earnings to themselves, it is still an issue of the heart. Because this kind of attitude not only reflects here, it will reflect in their true nature in the real world as well.
