Genesis, Hashflare, and Minegate

Genesis Mining Review

I wasn't sure what to expect since this was my first attempt at mining for cryptocurrency. There are a lot of Youtube videos pointing how successful they are with mining from the Genesis, but there are a lot of skeptics as well. I purchased 5 m/h on a Ether contract to start.

Pros:

• 2 year contract on Ethereum
• You get paid everyday (not at first)
• You can mine bitcoin, ether, monero, dash, litecoin, zcash, STEEM, and a few others i don't know about
• Customer service is extremely helpful and very responsive

Cons:

• It takes about 32 days before your first payment goes through. Until then they're all pending
• I've had a few cases where referrals didn't go through.
• You must meet a payment threshold. To get paid everyday. Otherwise you will get paid whenever you hit the threshold~
• Cost more than others

So far I'm a little over a month in and based on the current prices I have received a little over $30 in Ether and a few dollars in Ethereum Classic. So far it seems pretty safe. If Ethereum and Ethereum Classic stay at the price they are today...
I should get my money back in 4 months. If the price goes up then I will make it back much faster and will probably re-invest half of my profits.

Hashflare Mining Review

I signed up with Hashflare shortly after I started with Genesis. I bought 1 T/H on SHA-256 so far I've had a pretty good experience. Like Genesis, it will probably take a 4 months or so to get my money back.

Pros:

• 10% reward in bitcoin for referrals. Someone spends $1000 and you will get $100 in bitcoin.
• They have earnings calculator
• You have the option to mine in different pools.
• You can choose several pools or mine in just one.
• You can mine bitcoin, ether, zcoin, and dash
• Cheaper than Genesis

Cons:

• Only has 1 year contracts
• Bitcoin maintenance fee seems high
  
• Not as many coin options

My opinion... Sucks! There is something always wrong with this site and doesn't seem to be very profitable.
