Do you believe that legal coherence should be maintained?

Do you know of any examples of legal incoherence?

For example, a baker refuses to design a cake for a wedding. The supreme court rules in favor of the baker, saying that the state cannot COMPEL SPEECH (cake design and fabrication is apparently speech).

HOWEeveR, when someone REFUSES TO TESTIFY in court, they are thrown into prison. **

Forcing someone (under threat of incarceration) to testify in a court of law is COMPELLED SPEECH.
