SteemP2PTour - A Travel Update + A few words on Steemfest

Greetings Steemit Family!

I can't believe we're already halfway through July!

Time flies when you're moving out of your place and preparing for an intercontinental Steem Tour! I have so much yet to do to prepare for my trip! Only 53 days until I set out into the unknown.

The Steem Peer to Peer Tour!

So far I haven't nailed down the exact dates, or destinations, but it looks like the first stop will be Greece in mid-September, where I will meet with @onceuponatime, and other members of the Greek Community in Loutraki, which I hear is "The Crypto Friendliest Place On Earth." :) Well, I'm eager to find out what that's all about!

After Greece, of course, I am planning on arriving in Lisbon for Steemfest! I'm planning to arrive on October 31st, and I've already booked my accommodations. I hope to see many of you there!

But, before or after SteemFest, from Greece to Portugal, and anywhere in between, I am planning to roam across Europe with my video camera and a willingness to share YOUR stories, perspectives, and ideas with the world.

Let me know if you would like to host, or meet a traveling Steemian in your city, and I will do my best to share your Steemit story with the world! I think we're going to call this the #SteemP2PTour. While I'm on the subject of Steemfest....

I really want to encourage you to attend! You may have your doubts that it is feasible for you to make it there for any variety of reasons. However, there is a huge and generous community of Steemians here that are working to make the event accessible to as many people as possible. You may find, that if you have the will to make the journey, the universe will conspire to help you realize your goal!

If you follow the hashtag #steemfest, you will see there are many generous members of the community who are offering up varying degrees of support to help you join us at SteemFest! So keep your eyes out. Where there's a will, there's a way!

Well, if you read this far, I'll let you in on a little open secret... Today is my birthday! ;)

So, I'm off for a dip in the lake!

I'll make a video update soon. Maybe I'll record one from the beach if inspiration strikes. :) I'm going to come out from behind the camera and give y'all a proper hello.
