Hello steemians,
The purpose of this section is to allow people who uses selfvotes to be useful to the community.
What to do?
1- Make a comment with a useful question which may be useful to new users and answer them.
2- Upvote your own comment.
It is as simple as that, you can also answer others questions.
You are answering and formulating useful questions, therefore you are helping the community.
With this method you can ensure your self-vote is worthy.
Cheers,
@lrd
Agreed :) I guess you're absolutely correct that one should first add some value to the community before getting anything.

The ideal thing would be to make a question or answer in order to be worthy of the selfvote.

You made a good point (BTW I edited my comment).
May I ask you a question? As I am new to this community so just curious to know , you upvoted your own comment and it got $2 whereas when you upvoted my comment it's got $0.01 why is that? Is it handled by Steemit or is it in users hand?

I bought a few days ago 435 Steem and leased with @minnowbooster 20185 Steem Power that is why my upvote is worth so much.
