I've got a friend, Adam, likes to use coinbase for crypto trading (god only knows why) and for the most part, he was happy with it. Until today, when he decided to use his account to gamble on the super bowl. Of course, it is against the terms of service but fuck, that was his money he should be able to do what he wants with the money. If he's breaking the law, just let the government handle it. You wouldn't even have to tell them because they're already watching.

I've been telling him for months not to use it as a wallet but he always shrugged it off

I have been looking at crypto since the bubble grew a few months ago. Everywhere I looked people were posting about how great it is. I almost got in, but honestly it was the shady practices of the exchanges that have kept me out. There are way to many stories (especially for Coinbase) where they are locking people out from their wallets, ignoring support tickets for weeks and longer. They seem on a quest to outdo the major cable internet companies for worst service in the world. Problem is I can't be having that with any significant sums of money.
