Thanks for insightful post on understanding how the steem system works. Haven't checked in for a while and never really understood how all that reputation stuff worked here. Like that what you suggest is more about being a decent person and respecting others.

I don't worry about reputation so much as follow what am I curious about and what title/subject interests me when I check in to steem.

As for the haters...."Be who you are and say what you feel, because those that mind don't matter and those that matter don't mind." .....Dr. Suess ...has always been a good reminder on who/how to be.
