  • but i am going to be honest with you - unless you are migrating from some other form of social media with a large follower base who follows you - Its probably never going to happen. That is just the cold hard truth!

There are hundreds of thousands of bloggers, game streamers, crypto analysts and just about everything else you can think off...Unless you are incredibly gifted at writing or incredibly niche you probably wont make it.

So what can you do to get bigger?

Well all i see if people talking about using vote bots, can anyone show me one single account who has grown big due to votebots? Genuinely I would like to see this..

The only true way to grow organically on steemit is to find your interest, join relevant community and participate!

Votebots will not help you grow long term! they just wont...even if you spend hundreds of dollars to reach the trending page all that will get you is arse kissing comments hoping for a juicy comment upvote (that you probably cant give anyway..)

Steemit is a great social media site, but it wont make you rich - accept that and have a more enriching experience.

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.

Looks like your first comment on steemit? welcome!

In the time since I joined about six months ago Steem has gone down in value. Steeming for the joy of it has become my primary experience, in that the worth of posting has become less valued in dollars regardless of who upvotes my posts. In dollar value my account has declined while my posts have been rewarded more.

Now I am learning about SMTs and the implied top 20 manipulation required to introduce a hard fork. All of this makes it difficult to onboard people from f.b.

Still, I enjoy steemit more for many reasons.

Hi @madstacks
Excellent article. I subscribed to your blog. I will follow your news.
I will be grateful if you subscribe to my blog @user2627
Good luck to you!

This is very true. I don't come here to make money. When I first heard of Steemit I thought it was an exchange like BitShares. lol. Now I come here to post stuff I couldn't on other social media platforms, my investments. So far I've met many interesting people and found some good groups.
