It only syncs your account for upvotes, and also allows you to schedule posts, and recieve notifcation. A lot of whales use streemian with no problems so I think its quite a reputable site :)

My pleasure! My fave part about streemian which I didn't include in here is that it allows you to recieve notifcations for when your fave Steemians post, so I woke up to emails telling me to go and check different peoples posts which is cool as sometimes I miss them :)
