Its only been a few days since I made this steemit account and I have already gained 27 followers! If that doesn't tell you how great the community is, then I don't know what will. Just post a lot of content and make sure you use correct tags. You can also use tags that are more popular like: life, steemit, blogs, funny, crytpocurrencies, etc. I've only just recently started doing this however. My most popular post were about steemit.com
