The smell of mouth in Ramadan is one of the most difficult problems that cause embarrassment to the fasting person, but there are effective ways to deal with them and get rid of them.
There are many reasons for the emergence of this problem, notably the severe dry mouth as a result of fasting, the secretions of the stomach without finding anything to digest it, burning the body of stored fat to absorb energy, which causes the production of odorless ketone bodies, as well as insufficient attention to clean mouth. The fasting person must follow the following instructions:
1 - Avoid sweet foods as sugar is the ideal food for bacteria, which play an important role in the emergence of bad breath. Also keep away from eating foods that activate the smell of the mouth, such as onions, garlic and spices.
2 - Drink plenty of water during breakfast hours and avoid smoking after meals or reduce it as much as possible. Also, it is not correct to drink too much coffee, because it is characterized by strong smell that last for a long time and thus cause bad breath to the mouth.
3 - divide the meals into several small portions to avoid problems of digestion, bloating and gases that affect the increase of oral odor.
