Only 10 million people died of hunger in India at the first wave! The "Bengal famine" is the largest genocide in the history of mankind, but nothing is written about it in textbooks.
The British Empire is notorious for its cruelty, which has contributed to its enrichment. During the British colonization of India, a large part of the population died of starvation. The first great famine took place in 1770, and then several waves in 1783, 1866, 1873, 1897 and the last in 1943-44 during the reign of Winston Churchill. All this can be explained very simply - Britain wants the resources of India, but for this it does not need a large number of people in India it is necessary to reduce the number of people on the contrary. Britain was one of the "great powers", which actively supported the Ottoman Empire and was against the liberation of the enslaved peoples.
"I hate Indians, they are animals with the religion of animals that multiply like rabbits" - Winston Churchill is the last British politician who tried to physically destroy the Hindus.
Only during the first famine in India, and at that time it was a British colony in 1770-1773. Nearly 10 million people died, which is millions more than officially declared Holocaust victims! This means that the British managed to kill almost a third of the total population of Bengal. In his book Invisible World, John Fisk describes the famine in Bengal as much more deadly and sinister than even the Black Plague, which terrorized Europe in the 14th century. The British ruthlessly plundered the resources of India, but also forced every ordinary peasant to pay a 15% tax on their harvest.
The most deadly famine after Bengal in the 1770s occurred during Winston Churchill in 1943, when more than 3 million people died of starvation. The sight was horrible, people crawled through the streets and ate the bodies of the dead in order to survive. This raises the question of whether Winston Churchill, the man who saved Britain from the mass murderer of Hitler, is no less a monstrous murderer than himself. When the government in Delhi sent a photograph to Churchill (see below), in order to describe the horror that is happening there, the Prime Minister of Great Britain answers in his joke form: "Then why is Gandhi alive?"
