 Hawaii just became the first state to unanimously pass a bill supporting universal basic income, a policy that’s generally accepted as a way to thwart the inevitable wave of unemployment that will be catalyzed by technological advances and automation. It doesn’t actually codify #UBI into law, but it’s a huge step forward in a very positive direction. Go Hawaii!
