Steem lacks the concept of trailing commissions. Imagine instead of a single doller you earnt instead 1c for every post you posted in the past year.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
